IN THE HEART OF THE MIDLANDS

Compassionate care. Professional people. Local opportunity.

Welcome to Best Wishes Nurses — a proposed specialist care and workforce business serving people and families across the Midlands.

Our focus is simple:

People before profit.
Dignity before everything.
The right person. The right care. The right time.

BEST WISHES NURSES

END-OF-LIFE LIVE-IN CARE

Sometimes the greatest gift is simply being there.

Best Wishes Nurses is designed around compassionate, person-centred support for people who wish to remain at home or in familiar surroundings during an important stage of life, where this can be safely and appropriately arranged.

We aim to support:

The person.
The family.
The professional team.
The carer.

Our model is based on dignity, respect, communication, continuity and appropriate professional care.

CQC fundamental standards include person-centred care, dignity and respect, suitable staffing, safeguarding, complaints and good governance. (Care Quality Commission)

ABOUT US

WHY BEST WISHES?

End-of-life care is deeply personal.

Families need confidence that the person they love is being treated as an individual — not simply as a care package.

Best Wishes Nurses is built around a simple principle:

CARE SHOULD FEEL HUMAN.

We want to create a service where professional people are valued, families are listened to and clients remain at the centre of decisions about their care.

We are based in the heart of the Midlands, creating opportunities for experienced nurses, carers and other suitably qualified professionals while developing a local network of trusted care partners.

OUR SERVICES

1. LIVE-IN CARE

Individualised live-in support for people who require substantial assistance while remaining in their own home or another appropriate familiar environment.

Support may include:

Companionship
Personal care within the agreed care plan
Everyday living support
Maintaining routines
Communication with families
Supporting appointments and agreed activities
Liaising with the appropriate professional team
Monitoring and escalating concerns appropriately

2. END-OF-LIFE CARE

COMPASSION AT HOME

End-of-life care requires more than a rota.

It requires:

Time.
Listening.
Dignity.
Continuity.
Communication.

We aim to work alongside GPs, district nurses, hospices, community teams and other appropriate professionals.

Best Wishes Nurses does not replace NHS or specialist palliative-care services.

3. NURSE & CARER RECRUITMENT

YOUR EXPERIENCE MATTERS

We want to connect experienced professionals with appropriate opportunities.

Potential recruitment pathways include:

Registered nurses
Healthcare assistants
Experienced carers
Live-in carers
End-of-life care workers
Care coordinators
Administrative support
Training and supervisory roles
Every role will specify its qualifications, responsibilities, pay, employment status and required checks.

4. TRAIN WITH US

DEVELOP YOUR CAREER

Best Wishes Nurses can develop training pathways for people entering, returning to or progressing within care.

Potential subjects include:

Person-centred care
Safeguarding
End-of-life awareness
Communication
Dignity and privacy
Professional boundaries
Care documentation
Moving and handling
Medication awareness within role boundaries
Wellbeing for carers

Training must be delivered by appropriately qualified people, with accreditation or CPD status clearly stated where applicable.

We do not describe ourselves as an NHS training provider unless a formal NHS agreement exists.

5. SUPPORTING NHS & FRONTLINE WORKERS

BEST WISHES TO OUR NURSES

We recognise the contribution made by:

NHS staff.
Hospice teams.
Blue-light workers.
Social-care workers.
Community professionals.
Unpaid carers.
Families.

Our ambition is to create legitimate employment, development and wellbeing opportunities around the care economy.

Supporting the NHS does not mean replacing the NHS.

6. FAMILY SUPPORT

SUPPORTING THE PEOPLE WHO CARE

Families can become carers overnight.

Best Wishes Nurses aims to provide clearer information and appropriate signposting so families understand:

What live-in care means
What care can and cannot provide
When specialist nursing input is required
How to communicate concerns
How to access appropriate professional support
How to plan ahead

OUR BUSINESS MODEL

A PEOPLE-FIRST CARE BUSINESS

The proposed model has four connected areas:

CARE

Paid care services delivered by appropriately recruited and qualified people.

PEOPLE

Recruitment, retention, training and professional development.

PARTNERS

Relationships with appropriate healthcare, hospice, social-care, training and community organisations.

COMMUNITY

A Midlands-based network that keeps care, employment and expertise connected locally.

BUSINESS POTENTIAL

WHY THE MIDLANDS?

The Midlands provides a strong geographical base between major population centres while retaining substantial communities across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and the wider region.

The care market also faces real workforce pressures. CQC’s 2024/25 State of Care reported that adult social-care vacancy rates remained around three times those of the wider job market, with homecare vacancies particularly challenging. It also highlighted the need for more community services to help people remain at home. (Care Quality Commission)

That creates an opportunity for a well-governed, specialist and people-focused organisation — provided growth follows quality rather than the other way around.

OUR DIFFERENCE

BEST WISHES NURSES IS NOT JUST A ROTA

Our proposition is:

Specialist.
Personal.
Local.
Professional.
Human.

We want continuity of care to become part of the brand.

The ambition is not to place as many people as possible.

It is to create the right care relationship.

CQC states that regulated providers must have enough suitably qualified, competent and experienced staff and must provide appropriate training and supervision. (Care Quality Commission)

Before providing regulated activities, the business must establish the correct CQC registration and regulatory structure. CQC states that providers need to register to carry on regulated activities. (Care Quality Commission)

THE OPPORTUNITY

BUILDING A MIDLANDS CARE BRAND

Best Wishes Nurses has the potential to become more than a care agency.
